Office Manager

Position Description

  • Title: Office Manger

  • Schedule: 30 hours per week, 9am-3pm Monday – Friday

  • Reports to: OFFCMH Executive Director

  • Supervises: Office staff, FWS Students, and Office Volunteers

  Qualifications

  • Excellent communications skills, customer service/reception skills, familiarity with QuickBooks/Microsoft Office/Email/Microsoft Expressions, strong management and organizational skills, strong understanding and passion for the organization’s mission and vision.

Job Description

  • Organize, lead, and execute the administrative duties of the office. Provide reliable office presence to ensure up-to-date and timely work product delivery along with consistent communication to the staff, Board of Directors, membership, Grant administrators, and other professionals involved with the organization.

Volunteers

General office duties including but not limited to answering phones, data entry, filing, preparation of mailings, copying and scanning. Flexible hours are available. Our office is located on bus line. A background check is required for all employees and volunteers.

Board Members

The Board of Directors are responsible for the organization through the exercise of both their passion for the community provision of needed support and services, as well as the exercise of the various members special expertise in assisting in its growth. In addition to specific knowledge of Children’s Mental Health, the Board resources contain components from the communities of business, law, medicine, public relations, etc.

Expectations of Board members include general principles of ethical behavior, commitment to the organization’s mission and philosophy, an agreement to work toward its goals and fund raising.

Requirements:

1. Carry some knowledge of the issues of children’s mental health and family involvement. Preferably a parent or caregiver family member; however, professionals are welcome.

2. Willingness to consistently meet on a quarterly basis for Board Meetings.

3. Willingness to accept nominations or elections to leadership positions.

4. Willingness to participate in Board training activities.
