It is our mission to promote a family directed system of care that will enable families to live in safe, stable and respectful environments. We advocate through collaborative efforts at the community, state and national levels. We strive to empower families, children, and youth to move forward and to build upon their natural strengths and resiliency. The Ohio Federation for Children’s Mental Health offers a combination of support, education, and advocacy that is based in youth and family strengths and resilience. The definition of resiliency as accepted by the Ohio Federation is as follows: An innate capacity that when facilitated and nurtured empowers children, youth, and families to successfully meet life’s challenges with a sense of self-determination, mastery, and hope* Information about Staff and Board Members History of the Ohio Federation
